    Re: The new track bike

Yo,glad to see the bike being put to good use instead of collecting dust for another year or three in my basement.
Hope your wife wasn't too upset with the full truck load of bike and parts.
Bike should treat you well, I'm sure you'll enjoy it much on the track.

Let me know if you want help working on it. I know the bike inside and out. I have a set of spools for it too if you have Kates weld the left swingarm tab

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

Apparently you forget the bike. I put the rear spool on the left side. No issues with the tab.
Maybe your thinking of a different bike? We did have about 5 600RR's in my basement at one point.

The bike I raced actually had the sheered off tab for the spool.....Remember how the first race weekend last year after I painted the bike really nice you dropped it trying to put it on the spool?? I Bet You Remember That!!!

    Re: The new track bike

rearsets/clipons have been installled. The quick turn throttle is now all hooked up as well.
The rear subframe is tweaked to the right, how possible is it to bend it back into place with some heat and coercing?

    Re: The new track bike

What did you order for a throttle?

As far as the subframe... "Influence" it with a 2x4.

not sure what it is, but was on there when I picked up the bike. Believe it is a 1/5 turn throttle. The cable ends had to be grinded down a bit to fit inside the housing at the bar end.

I will hacksaw jim duggan the subframe and see what i can do. got a bid on a straight one now on ebay as well
