    Re: Experienced Rider Course

You can expect a modified version of Day 2 of the beginner course ridden on your own bike. The classroom content is reviewed in discussions between exercises.

It's actually challenging and fun if you have an open mind and don't think that focused practice won't help you. Doing these exercises at low speed has a way of making you bad habits stand out like a sore thumb. Accepting that you are not perfect before you go into this class is important. Working on precision in practice will lead to precision in real life.

It can be tailored to the types of riders in the class by a good instructor, but it is largely what YOU make it. Have fun!

The guys over at the cool kids table talked me out of the ERC and into saving the fee for a track day. The track day comes with the added benefit of being a unique experience and highly brag worthy. But I still think about it periodically.

Price sounds right. I was ready to pay the $60 or whatever the subsidized price is here in NH.

Yeah, the sportbike refresher course? That's what they call it here.

    Re: Experienced Rider Course

Have been thinking of taking the ERC course in NH, scared of dropping the bike though, its real top heavy at low speeds and has the manouverability of an aircrat carrier in tight spots,,

Yours can't be much heavier or aircraft carrier like than mine. Some video of me practicing last fall for "low speed" stuff. https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/phot...eat=directlink

    Re: Experienced Rider Course

I suspect a lot of your weight there is down low, mine seems to be a lot higher, hence slow speeds she wants to go down. I cant get anywhere near the locks in turns. I have an 04 Kawasaki ZZR1200, great straightline and good in the curves but as a sport tourer low speed manouverability is lacking.

Bring food/snacks. After 6 hours of low speed maneuvering you'll be feeling it.
