hey everyone keep an eye out for deer! i was out on the highway yesterday and a deer went in front of me hit the car near me then bounced off (well imploded) back towards me etc! It was a DEF oooo shit moment! but all faired well except the deer... i just tucked behind my windscreen and did appropriate braking and moving to avoid what i could! then i pulled over for a breather!

so ride safe! and keep an eye out!

A good friend of mine hit one on his supermoto just the other day He will be okay, but got messed up

Saw one last weekend still alive and alert lying in the breakdown lane on I-95N in Providence immediately adjacent to Rog. Wms. Park.
Small truck (probably guy who hit it) and Trooper at the scene.

When I returned south about 1 hr. later saw dead animal only on far side... cop might have put it down.

Can only imagine if I'd been hustling through that northbound section a few minutes earlier!

There are a LOT more deer out on the roads this year, not sure why.

just came back from the trip to western MD rt.81-rt.68 there had to been at least one dead deer on the side of the road for every 2 miles I traveled, never seen so much carnage lol

def...i had one barrell across my nose one night when i was riding...but i was night mountain biking so i was in their backyard...it would have devastated me had it come a couple feet closer

Last fall i clipped the back leg of a deer the jumped across the road in front of me. I broke hard and managed to not hit the thing head on, but it was scary as hell! .....plus i may have sounded like a 12 year old girl screaming bloody murder........

Dusk is definitely one of the times deer are out there. They also seem to be coming closer to more populated areas lately.

I havent hit a deer in 5 or six years now. They seem to have got faster.

not nice track deer hit - wow!!!!! Someone ahead of me hit a ground hog on the track on 6/15/2010 almost caused a problem but I saw them hit first and avoided. Had a deer hit in the other lane down near Gallalee RI fly over my windshield also, like watching a slow motion video with a good ending. Rode over a dead one at 75 on rt 4 jumped and landed ok. Just a matter of timing! Sometimes you win sometimes you don't. Watch out on the kank in the evenings!!!! locals get wiped out by moose

yeah haha ... earlier this year I was touring down 225 in Carlisle mid-morning, when what should appear but three tiny deer, actually medium-large sized deer, bounding across the road about 100' ahead of me, a pretty sight, fortunately, they were faster than me ...

where in Gallalee? because i usually fly down from 108 to over there...
