These two bikes have caught my eye. Not sure what it is about them but I think they're cool as hell and would definitely rock one if a multiple-bike stable is in my future.
Anyone else's mind ever wander over to the cruiser side? Has being without a sportbike for 2 months now completely fucked my mind up THAT much already?

Nuff said
Wouldn't say its that strange...probably just part of a general love for anything on two wheels.
I've gotta say though, I've always had this strange affection towards the '02 Suzuki Marauder. Weirdest thing, because there's really nothing special about it. I just really like it. I also like the new M50/M90 (successors to the Marauder).

ride one and you'll change your mind. i rode my bro-in-laws softail. boring....
I also would have one in a multi-ride stable
cruisers for me are more of a comfortable 2-up option though...with a back rest and all
Yep, got a hankerin' for a V-Rod, one with mid-controls
grow up an get a super sport touring bike. Those cruisers are good for going from bar to bar.

If I were to ever buy a HD, it would probably be the Rocker as well Johnny. No freaking way I'm going to spend 20K on an under performing bike. I can buy a brand new car for that money.
V-Rod with mid-controls and those solid disc wheels, Kerker cans ... custom paint like a pearlescent black ...
vmax, sure but I'd never use all the power
I test rode an o1 vmax the acceleration when I hit the blower system made me sea sick. Cool bike and it fits short people very well but a dragster for sure. Take one over a harley every time but it may befor me.

I owned both simultaneously for several years, I never REALLY enjoyed riding the cruiser. I think that is because once I got on the thing I was comitted to one riding position. It was a good 2 UP bike and it was good for short trips to a destination, like to the beach, etc. On my sportbike however, I can do easily do 400+ miles in a day and still feel like riding again the next day. I rode my cruiser home from NH once, less than 200 miles, and I never did it again.
My 2 cents.

I get offended by people who cry they've been offended
There's a Yamaha (Road Star) Warrior in my near future...![]()
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
I'd rock a HD Fourty Eight or a few of the Victory bikes any day. I don't think I could live with a cruiser as my only bike though.
Yah I dig the new Harleys and even the new (and old) VMAX. Thing is, the guys talking about under performing bikes are missing the entire point of a Cruiser.
Again, it's called a "Cruiser"
