i've run them before and loved them over the 208 i had before. i haven't tried PP's at all so I can't really compare though.

From what I have read the Qualifier does not last
as long as the Pilot Power, but both have comparable
    grip levels.

PK has Power Race's for $240 a set..with free shipping!
(Free Shipping = he's bringing a set with him to the track for me on the 17th)

If you bought Michelins last year you prolly won't find that same price this year as Michelin had a price increase for this year.

so I used the qualifiers on the track - they held up pretty well, heated up really fast - my only issue with them was they let go in the corners with considerably less warning than the PP's. my ass end was all over the place exiting some corners and I really can't blame it on the overactive throttle hand, they just seemed to run out of tire later in sessions. I felt like I had to ride a bit more "tenative" than with the PP's...

So I guess what I am saying is if someone were to put a gun to my head I would pick the PP's but I wouldnt be upset with the qualifiers.

Oh yeah and I lowsided out of 12 (cut the corner just too tight for any tire and the ass end came around...)

nah no bump - I was fine, my left shoulder is a little sore today - just annoyed with myself - the bike was pretty much ok - hit the frame slider, rear spool, left bar end - and no rash on the plastics...

earlier in the day I decided to take a run across the grass between 11 and 12 (way too hot into 11 on my warm-up lap) which ended in me breaking my left peg and cleaning dirt out of the left side of the bike

other than that it was a great day!

    Man Smooth,
What are you doing to your new bike ?!

I think you need to hand that thing over to me for
    safe keeping !

How did you deal with a broken peg most of the day
then ? You had a spare?

I had some trouble running 11 and 12 too last week. but then I also had trouble with 1, 2, 3, the bowl, pit-in, pit-out and also putting the bike on side-stand after tech.

good to hear you and the beautiful bike is fine.

I had to take off my passenger peg and then use some washers to take up the extra space and then some tape to try to keep it from moving - then back at it! (tape fell off)

yeah - it figures - i get my new pretty bike and what do I do but bin it twice!

that's the way it goes when you start pushing harder

its a strange dynamic though - the harder you push - the slower you go

Damn dude! I remember hearing that get off after tech but I had no idea the rest of your day was that challenging.

it was all good. just learning experience, most of my issues (early apex, inconsistent exit lines) were in the 1st couple of sessions, the afternoon went much better.

I did however got pulled in for brake lights and tony asked if I spoke english. shit man I can't hear jack with my pipes and earplug.
