So I finally got on my bike and rode it for the first time Friday afternoon in a parking lot in CT. Needless to say I'm hooked. If it weren't for the rain I would have been out more this weekend. I loved it and picked it up rather quickly. My "teacher" was quite impressed. We had originally planned for me to stay in first gear but since I picked it up so fast, he taught me how to shift. I only stalled twice and didn't lay it down (knock on wood!) Next up, a hill, maybe tomorrow. I'm sure I"ll be fine. I've driven a standard for a long time. We forgot the camera Friday but tomorrow we will have it so we can grab some pics of me in action. I take my MSF class this upcoming weekend and I CANNOT WAIT! Here are some pics of my bike (so lovingly called bottle rocket) all put back together again and clean! I have taken two days off for my upcoming birthday in August and I will be spending my whole vacation riding, weather permitting.
