    Finally decided on a bike

I just picked it up today. I already had a caron fiber slip-on system installed from Sil Motor, and I will be replacing the stock clutch cover with a vented carbon fiber Ducati Performance cover later today. I will post actual pics when I get around to taking some. The one I picked up is the exact same color as the one pictured.

Definitely a nice ride. You'll have to give us your riding impressions after a while.

Did you go to BCM? That sounds like the place to both buy Ducatis as well as to get them serviced.

My next bike will likely be a Duc, but it is going to be a while as I just started grad school.

Check out this new Ducati forum if you haven't already.

    Enjoy the bike!

I actually bought it at Naults. They gave me a good deal on the bike. BCM is a great place to get a Duc serviced at, but there is a long wait to get your bike in there since many people across the country and even Canada get their major work done there. They don't seem to do much in the way of Monster sales, since I always only see the super bikes and Super sports on the sales floor. Its a great place to find used Ducatis as well. They also have the most extensive Ducati parts selection in the US. There's almost nothing that they don't have. Another great Duc dealer is Great Bay Motorcycles in Hampton, NH. They are willing to sell their bikes at great low rates without even haggling. If you go, ask for Don Jeka. He's the owner and a great guy to boot. If you go to Naults, ask for Scott Beaulac

I'm actually a member at Ducati.ms, and have been for a few months. Its a great board.

Thanks. I can't wait to put some miles on it now. I just installed the vented clutch cover. Now it sounds amazing combined with the exhaust tone.

I'm going out for a break-in ride tomorrow if the weather cooperates and I'll try to snap off some pictures if I can figure out how to get my camera out on the ride with me. It seems that there is barely any storage on the Monsters. Oh well, I'll figure something out.

Thats the same bike, yes. I would definitely be up for a ride some time. I'm always around on this site. PM me when you would like to do some riding. What part of NH are you from?

had a feeling you'd come around

    ..and get the Duc.

Nice ride, man. I'm envious of that 996 pusher.

    Cheers.

That was actually either the Ducati 900 or 1000, which is an air cooled monster with 84 HP and 62 foot lbs of torque compared to my new ride with 113 HP and 71 foot lbs of torque.
Thanks for the compliments guys. It feels great to be riding again.
