Looks like Shaul Perry's bike. He has a SB8R too and that was the eBay name, plus he lives in Amherst.

He has raced that bike for many years. Always did well on it.

That's why I'm here. I can master just about anything obvious!

Here's what I got from it: Bought new in '98, raced a bunch, crashed a bit, repaired, rinse & repeat, rebuild engine...

No shit right,...i could'nt even get a simple air filter question answered. Even still i called this Paul guy everyone talks about in here being a great worker on bikes, still hasn't returned my phone calls and i called twice.

you mean the K&N question? Seriously, if your filter is already re-usable, don't bother... if it's not & you get one, i seriously doubt you'd have to re-jet... but none of us on this forum are magic virtual human dynomometers w/ built-in internet air/fuel gauges so none of us will know for sure......

Its not reusable otherwise i wouldn't have bought the K@N. Anyway the K@N came in and no jetting needed.
