How can you tell? Was 05 when they used USD forks? Or are you referring to the color scheme.

yea that is one of the things i noticed...other than the forks...the rear pegs, color scheme, front cowl, exhaust, brake calipers...i had an 03 and now have an 05 so it was easy to see...03/04 same bike different colors...same with the 05/06...i mean it could be an 04 with 03 plastics i guess
