The blackening of my ZRX.......

Put the nose fairing(had round headlight)back on last winter and did some powdercoating and ceramic coating as well...... Opinions are welcome....... Oh yeah, sorry for the taunting Will.

That looks great. Im doing the same thing to my 1100 as we speak. Hopefully she'll be ready soon. I was questioning my decision to do it but after seeing yours I'm glad i went this route. Did you swap out the bolts on the Engine cases and if so were did you get them. I like the way the silver bolts look against the black background. Just my opinion but i think the swing arm should be next on the hit list for a black eye.

looks good, love the blacked out look. i think a carbon pipe would look ballsy. why go back to the square headlight? thats the one thing i never cared for on the zrex.

Some questions:

1. Are the headers ceramic coated? Where did you get that done?

2. Is the rear eccentric supposed to be in that position?

TO answer a few questions.....

That is the factory position for the eccentrics.

I have another swingarm on my porch that will be braced and powdercoated black as time allows.....

I bought a stainlees steel bolt kit from mark444 on the zrxoa.

Removed SV1000 round headlight and Holeshot flyscreen to go back to stock. Everything about the stock headlight is worse(lighting, airflow,...) but I wanted to go back to the stock look for a while.....

It's a full Akropovic system. I replaced my c/f can with a ceramic coated titanium can. The pipes were coated as well.

Wave rotor is a stock ZRX rotor that I lightened on a CNC verticle machining center...

Chrome sucks..... Heheheh......
