    fuel pump???

Can I bypass the Thermistor on the fuel pump?
I'm wondering if I can bypass the Thermistor by adding a direct wire from the negative wire, down to the negative terminal?

    Re: fuel pump???

Ok heres the deal...I bought a 2005 GSXR 750 off some kid that had no business owning it. And I bought it cheap!!!!
He told me the bike started and drove before he changed out the old dented tank for a used not dented tank. Now the bike will not start.
I'm in the process of diagnosing the problem. Heres where I'm at.
The fuel pump pumps when hooked directly up to a 12v battery, and it will pump when I bypass the Thermistor and hook it directly up to power. When I connect the wiring from the pump to the coupler and turn the bike on the pump will not prime.
So, is the Thermistor bad and will the computer tell i bypassed it? Or is the coupler and fuel pump relay shot? I have a new relay on order. I haven't tried to put it into dealer mode yet. I'm kinda working from inside the tank out.

Any help would be great. I'd rather figure this out with some help from you guys. Verses giving my money to the stealer...i mean dealer.

My stealer, as in the guys I've been dealing with. They will go unamed as I don't want to bad mouth them on a public forum. Even though I already did. Last year.

I saw Derek today at the races. He had nothing but great things to say about your shop...

please help!!! I'll make my Suzuki parts purchases through your shop!!! I'm a loyal customer if you take good care of me.

Nope, you already pissed me off. I'm taking my baseball and going home. Maybe you shouldn't have bragged about paying so little for the bike. .

And I'd like to see you be a loyal customer from RI.. Nope, fuck off! My stealership labor rate is $75 per hour. How may hours would you like to pre-buy?

    Re: fuel pump???

Oh yea... The solution is in your PM box. From the info in your PM, I don't think it has anything to do with the fuel pump...

Hopefully I am right and it's a simple fix... Good luck. Let me know.
