    Fuel question

What negatives could happen, if any, if you put a gallon of what might be 50:1 two stroke mix in the tank of a pick-up truck, then drove to the gas station & filled up to dilute it even more?

Werd, that's what Alex & I kinda figured but he asked me to tripple check to make sure. He called me & asked since he doesn't have 'net access where he is right now.

wtf u mean by "marval in the tank is advised" though?

    Fuel question

beet... stop giving me a headach w/ all this friggin information I don't need ... i just want to make sure that if he puts ONE gallon of 50:1 two stroke pre-mix into his tank, drives to the gas station & fills it up w/ regular gasoline that it's ok. A simple "yes" or "no" answer w/ a quick explaination of why will do just fine

you haven't read the webcrush thread huh?

Last week on mythbusters they ran cooking oil through a mb diesel with no ill effects. 50:1 shouldnt screw up the truck so long as running two stroke oil it won't hurt it. So I'd say if it's not a problem it should be fine. I'd try to check and see if it will cause any problems and if it won't then it will probably be ok.

Mixing in a gallon of 50:1 two stroke with the gas already in the tank won't hurt the engine at all.

I have done it in my truck. That is how I get rid of all of my waste gas. I wouldn't do it with less than a quarter of a tank to start with.
