Fun road in NY i found today

i was out near T**** road today and thought i'd go exploring. This road is a bit more fun to me since it has more elevation changes and is more fun at a slower pace.

its easy to get, but i'm hesitant to give directions since you guys are very protective haha. i thought i'd give 17 a break for a minute, and riding on smooth pavement in ny was a treat.

bingo. pretty sweet, i had missed it all last season somehow. it's a beautiful ride out, i'm coming from waterbury so thats about as far as i can ride in an afternoon (and be back at work by 4pm).

that little block has some of the best roads i've had the opportunity to sample.

sometimes they get a little rough w/ frost heaves, but otherwise... goddamn, they're nice.

Nice road but watch out for the guy in the grey Volvo wagon who decides to jump the curb (with his family in the car, mind you) to let the group of bikes pass only to proceed to tailgate said group while trying to grab license plate numbers the entire time.........yeah, that's right.

E.P. Road has too many driveway on it to "enjoy", if you smell what I'm steppin' in........

If you guys like this road, then you really need to head down to the Deal's Gap area. It's like this road, except 50 times tighter and you don't have to go looking to find it. And all the roads around it for 50 miles are the same.

H***** road that is near T**** road is just as tight as Deals, more elevation change than Deals, just not as long.....

ah, theres a good rib place in Ti, AND you can buy more than 3 brands of beer within a 50 mile radius

really? i felt semi-safe on it didn't see too many driveways except at either end. but with so many blind corners i guess it only takes one

I smell it!

Up until last week, I had only seen 2 cars on EP all last summer...but last Thursday we saw at least 5 or 6. That road is lots of fun, but there are a few corners that will bite you really bad.

Nice video commentary as well...

i was there on a tuesday afternoon, i didn't see ANY cars but a white ford police truck drove right by me while i was riding it. AND a dark blue? chevy truck with a red light bar.. not sure if that was a cop or not.

neither of them gave me a second look.

We like the "Goat trail" between Annsdale circle(Peekskill) and Bear Mountain.218 up to Newburgh is good too.

The officer who followed us out to the spring on the group ride was driving a dark blue SUV with the red light bar; I think it was a Chevy.
