    FYI cheap tires

I just ordered some more tires from MAW, their prices are nice & low right now!

Ex. 120/70 zr17 front Michelin Pilot sport 100.95
    160/60 zr17 Rear " " 123.95
    Shipping was $9.

Just in case anyone comments, these are not for the same bike, I know the profiles are different. Part of the deal for selling the 600 was a new rear tire. The other is the front I need for the RC.

I saw the HPX's but have not heard anything about them. What can you tell me about them?? Anything? The prices for those were $20 - $30 More a tire than the regular Pilot sports.

Well the HPX are designed for Litre + bikes that really lay down the torque.
The have a harder casement that provides longer life.
I am on my fifth rear tire with about 12000 on the clock of my 03 Busa.
Stock bridgestone BT 56' only lasted 2200 miles and I look for a little better milage than that.
Used some Dunlop 208's next and they did just a little better mileage wise.
The HPX in my opinion are absolutly the best all around tire for grip, handling, and long milage life I have used.
I get at least 3500 out of them before the cords pop thru.
With the Busa in the summer being my preferred mode of transportation anywhere, I certainly go thru tires.
