    FZR 600 build

So I went about rebuilding my FZR 600 yesterday with my brother in-law (had to get him out of the house!) I had a new frame powdercoated at Central Mass powdercoaters and picked up a fox twin clicker shock as well.
    Finished this morning,
    here's some pics!

    Done, runs alot better now!

Yellow and purple sounds like a 'saved by the bell' color scheme, awesome!

This frame had bead blast, masking, and powdercoat: $300

I had the s4R frame done at the same time, so he gave me a package deal.

    nice man.

that was my first bike also --- a blue one with one side missing fairing. I paid $1,000 used --- but it got me into riding.

    Re: FZR 600 build

I got one of those back in the 90's when it was THE bike to have, lasted 2 weeks before it got nicked from outside work. All I found was 23 tiny pieces of shattered ignition barrel. Never saw it again! Nice while it lasted but a bit all or nothing if I remember correctly!

Oh yeah, all or nothing on this FZR too, reminds me of a 2-stroke's powerband. Maybe some K&N's and an exhaust swap would help broaden the power.
