    Gen II FZ1 F-trip F-UP

    My '09 fz1's fuel trip meter displayed this a.m. With two bars still showing
    on the fuel guage Anyone run into this? Or shall i just fuck off?

    okay okay...I just fueled it took 2.3 gallons so I really don't think f-trip
    should have been displayed......

    If it's on the side stand when it is started, that will confuse the computer bit and give you some crazy readings until the bike is upright for a few minutes. I see it all the time on my 2008.

    Sidestand check.....I found a thread on fz1oa 'splainin' that very same thing.
    I also saw some of your observations and have been experiencing the idle
    hunt dance on 'bout 50 percent of my hot starts. funny but not troubling....yet. Thanks for chimin' in

    I'm guessing it has to do with the level of tuning that Yamaha went with in order to pass American emissions because I've never seen any complaints from people in other parts of the world. Same goes for the dreaded snatch on the 06's.

    All just a guess based on observations.
