Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
They gotta make the ZX-10 bad-ass like this so E-Boz can go make everyone go crying home next year!
Just wait for all the memorable Mladin whining!

Unless Mladin gets hurt next year, he will win the championship again. They're too far ahead of everybody. You can't expect a new bike to come in and beat Yoshimura.Originally posted by benSV

E-Boz was doing an awful lot of whining this year.![]()
Why.... Ducati was fastest outta the box in WSBK. I think you do have some affection for Mladin.......LOL.

I still don't think it'll shit all over the Gixxer. Or the R1, or the aleged new CBR, or anything else in the class for that matter. It's getting to the point with these things that the differences are so damn minute. They're all great bikes, and they've continued to make incredible strides in technology. But it's getting to the point now where they're all getting on a level playing field. Very exciting time, for sure...

One very important point to note is the fact that Suzuki's generally handle well right out of the box. Kawi's aren't bad, yammi's are ok too. Honda? Forget it, stock Hondas don't handle unless you weigh 140lb and ride on billiard-table smooth roads. Suzuki kills 'em every time purely because they handle so much better than other makes in stock trim.

WSBK and MotoGP, get tons of test time. You don't see that in the US.Originally posted by Rye

I'm not a Mladin fan! But he's without a doubt, the best rider on the best bike this year. I actually was enjoying last season, when E-Boz was giving him a good battle. This year changed my mind about E-Boz. He's bitching too much....
I'd like to see Kawi or Yamaha take it next year, but I doubt it.
I thought to make a bike legal for racing, the manufacturer MUST make it street legal and sell a certain amount to the public.... this is one of the reasons 250 Yamaha R7's exists.Originally posted by Stoneman

some classes of racing... not all... require "homologation": offering a limited number of the model for customer sale in street-legal form.

I think GP is the opposite; if it's production, it can't be raced in GP.Originally posted by Brian_C6

WHO GOT THE R7!!!

PS. I went to NHIS during bikeweek last year and was walking though the pits. I came to the Yamaha Garage and checked out the bikes. The whole team had R7 frames w/ either R1 or R6 motors in them. My friend owned an R1 at the time and asked the guy what the deal was.... The mechanic said, "These bikes have been certified, inspected, blah, blah." My friend then said, "Yeah, that's cool, but I know they aren't R1 or R6 frames". The guy repeated himself and gave us all dirty looks. What's the deal there? Are the R7 frames better? Were these guys trying sneak something?

Bri, do a search for 'R7'. You may be able to figure out who has one...![]()

Poor Hondas. It amazing how many Hondas are sold each year, they have a top market share of ~28%. Heavy-industries-Kawasaki be strugglin' with 9%.One very important point to note is the fact that Suzuki's generally handle well right out of the box. Kawi's aren't bad, yammi's are ok too. Honda? I know there is a ZX-12R or ZX-9R that could use a nice home, I just need more money. I see a lot of Kawasakis in the showroom lately, as leftovers.![]()

The R7 frame in the yamaha AMA bikes was outlawed halfway through the season as I recall. They were basically bending the rules too far and got busted.
