How do you like the Gladius? I took a look at one at Keene Motorsports and its a nice looking bike. How does it compare in power and handling to a 600?

This is my first VTwin in a long time and 650. It's still breaking in. The power seems really good. I've had 750's, 900, 550, 1000cc bikes in the past. Handling is ok. It's no sport bike but I can lean it!

I don't know what it is about Suzuki, but when I was looking to buy, the 3 top pics I was looking at were: SV650, GSX-R 600, and the Gladius. At times I still really REALLY want a gsx-r 600, but I am happy with my sv, + its only been like a week heh.

I'm very happy with the SFV650(Gladius)! To be back on two wheels again is monumental! I keep thinking hey mon, are you mental? YES!

I've got the Evotech FE on my speed triple, looks much better than the stock monstrosity. That Gladius is a great bike, but the name reminds me of a gay Roman fighter...................

You're welcome, Sparticus. Like I said, great bike, bulletproof engine, not-so-well-thought-out name.

By the way, the FE looks way better than what was on there. Just be prepared to swat the road dirt off your passenger seat after each ride. Sadly, the stock fenders actually keep stuff off your back!
