Best gloves and duty fees for import?

I'm shopping for gauntlet gloves for my track day and more protection in general for street riding. My top choice was Held Phantom 2, but I can't find them domestically in my size/color preference. I've also heard good things about Rev'it Jerez gloves, but these also don't seem to be available at most online stores.

Any other recommendations for gloves in the $200-300 range? Or should I hold out for the Phantoms or Jerez to hopefully become available? Read about Heroics here, but haven't seen them at Revzilla, STG, etc.

It seems I can get the Phantoms outside the country, but does anyone know what duty/customs fees would be?

Thanks. My searches did not come up with the answers I was looking for.

Just wait a couple of days... RevZilla is directly importing a boat load of Held and word on the street is they just cleared customs.

On a side note, REV'IT!'s Jerez are some of the best fitting most comfortable race level gloves I have ever tried on.

Thanks man. I actually contacted Held about a week ago and they said they were shipping an order to Revzilla, but the Revzilla sales rep didn't have any info when I called. I'll give it a few days, but just want to make sure I have gloves before my track day and have time to break them in/get used to them.

Definitely interested in the Jerez too, though..

Seacoast sport in Derry NH stocks the Jerez gloves. I believe they have some sort of special today too.

Love my jerez gloves, both have damage but strictly cosmetic the armor really works.

The Jerez's run VERY small so make sure they have your next size up in their inventory.

I have Alpinestars GP Pro and love them. Try them on before you buy. I usually go XL but had to do XXL.

I'm looking for new gloves. I wear a small. Yeah, get the carney jokes out now. But even some smalls I have too much room in the fingers. Honestly, I wear a cadet golf glove. Do they make gloves with shorter fingers?

Held does specify some with shorter fingers, but their gloves tend to have long fingers as is, so it kind of cancels out. Alpinestars have the shortest fingers of all of the gloves I have tried on so I would check them out first.

I love my Knox Handroids. They have kangaroo palms (nice feel) & the best protection IMO. They are the only CE approved gloves. Just got a few sets of there new V14's & they fine tuned them even more. Everyone I have sold them to loves them as well.

Heroic does custom. he can also just customize an off the rack set and just cut the fingers down for you. not sure if he'll be at the first LRRS weekend or not but if you can wait till then its worth it to try some on and talk to him.

Thanks CBR929RE. Unfortunately all the LRRS rounds are conflicting with the AMA Pro schedule. This is the first yeah since working with LRRS that it's been impossible to ..... split myself into two people lol.
