    gloves for short fingers

Anyone know of good gloves that offer different finger lengths? For example, medium size with short fingers? Alternatively, do you think it would be feasible to have the fingers shortened?

I want to get my girlfriend some gloves, but she has some short friggn fingers. I would like to get her some nice gear (for her birthday). Ideally, I'm thinking of some Held Steve gloves Held Steve Motorcycle Gloves :: New Enough Motorcycle Apparel

    and having the fingers shortened.

    Any thoughts?

if you are looking to get the fingers shortened I may be able to help you out. shoot me a PM

this may be very obvious but have you looked into "ladies" gloves, they usually have a smaller cut

    PM - will do -

some stuff like ladies jackets obviously have a very different cut, but it seems like a lot of the gloves have similar profiles for male/female. It is a good idea, however, and I'll look into.

FWIW, I have found that "ladies gloves", while cut slightly different, they are harder to find, more expensive, and (in my experience) rarely made/carried in good-reputation brands, and therefore lower quality. If her problem is that her fingers are short, but her palms are not really slender, she may have problems with "ladies cut" gloves. I have only owned men's...

Nice brand but they look like winter gloves, not a lot of hard padding - how about these?

If you can still find IXS gear, I have the Laguna gloves, they're REALLY comfortable, good protection, and seem built a bit smaller than other gloves.

I use the Held Nero's. Very comfortable and decent for the street occasional track day.
