anyone here hear about this . I heard it on speed and read about it also. That would be kick ass since I couldnt afford to ship my bike to cali. in 05. drive down take in the sites, ride bike around orlando, send it in!!!

I have to say that this is embarassing for the US.

Indianapolis is not a track up to par with the other GP tracks offered on the calendar around the world. Indy is an banked oval with a "hack job" infield parking lot road course tacked on, most of the F1 drivers hate it, but PR people have stifled their comments.

Its only chosen here, I think, because its one of the only tracks in the the US that has the infrastructure to handle the crowd and pit facility needs of a big operation like Moto GP. For the riders I think its a shame. Miller, I think, would have been a better choice from what I have read of it.

imo almost any track built with bikes in mind have made runoff and safety an issue. the track takes up so much space there no room for any extra people. IE gp fans .

I thought I read somewhere that Indy would have to design a new infield track to make this work....I may be mistaken though.
Anyone else read or hear anything similar?
