    I've bad news

My friends Dave's Busa was stolen out of his driveway last week, I've soo busy at work I just found out. It's a '99 silver and copper Hayabusa with a muzzy singlesided exhaust. The tank has scuff marks on it from his crash along with the screen. On the right lower there is a small set of scratches right where the farings start to bend. If there is any info I'll be glad to pass it along.........

and no, he did not have full coverage (I told him he was stupid) on the monster so his new bike will be all out of pocket. So if you take anything from this, GET FULL INS COVERAGE ON YOUR SHIT, specially if you don't have the Lo-JACK YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it was stolen out of his driveway, his home owners insurance should cover at least part of it.

Not unless specifically specified in the policy, which most (99%) won't.

That is correct. Any registerable motor vehicle is not covered by your Home Owners insurance. (At least in MA)

Which is why I carry Liability and comp (not collision). If I wad it and it's my fault, it's my problem. If some thieving scumbag who, by rights, should have both arms amputated just below the neck, takes my bike, i'm covered.
    Cheers, Lee S.

My mistake. I just remembered that it is personal property not part of the vehicle that is usually covered under a homeowners policy (with restrictions of course).

That's a negative, my dirt bike was ripped out of the garage, and no dice. If it can be registered, nust have own insurance policy.
