    Firebolteric_ma Shoulder Hardware

As some know I had a little get off on the track on July 14th at NHMS from another bike going down. I Do Not suggest you do what I did as it has been a long Painful/Stressful couple months for me, but thought I'd share the picture's from it all.

I grabbed the x-rays when I went for my follow up the other day. They actually made me nauseous a little looking at them...lol

After the get off, busted Humeral head into 4 pieces:

    After Surgery, New Titanium hardware:

    The scar from it all:
    Attachment 22175

Elbow, If that is what you want to call it, it was huge:
    Attachment 22176

I do feel lucky in some way, as I am still above ground.

Nice that they were able to do it without messing up your ink. I always worry that something will happen to mine, road rash, surgery, whatever.

Swelbow is the appropriate term for a swollen elbow, FYI. Like the upgrade, wish it came without the need for pills. Cheers!

How the hell did the head just shatter?

Usually landing on the shoulder causes the collarbone break and/or the head just comes out of the socket. (yep...done them both!)

That is some serious repair right there! Makes my screws and pins look a bit girly.

    Re: Firebolteric_ma Shoulder Hardware

Pigman....Yea with the traveling my company does I'm sure I'll be getting the "x-ray" card for overseas travel. So long as it isn't ticking I shouldn't have a problem...

The bike was finally totaled, and I bought it back from them. As soon as I can move my shoulder enough, I'll start to put it together. Gotta get it measured first so I know all is good first.

I was happy they did not mess up the ink also, the doc was cool as they usually come right down the side with the incision..

Showing off wasn't really what I'd really call it. Nothing to be proud of here Jimbolina..

If they made it Bionic, that would be a different story.. I'd be fine with it all... cheap fucks..

Thanks for all the well wishes also, weather here, PM's, or at the track.

    Re: Firebolteric_ma Shoulder Hardware

Tony...I have no idea how it happened. One minute I'm on a bike trying to avoid things, next thing i know I'm in the air. I may have blacked out for a split second as I don't know how I landed.. but I do remember rolling and seeing...sky..ground..sky..ground..sky..ground..sky..ground..

If Anyone did see it and wants to let me know there thoughts I'm all ears... It happened quickly from my view.

If there was something I could have done to avoid this I wouldn't mind learning from the whole thing...I rally don't remember much, but think I landed on my meatball head which may have helped????
