I read a lot of this thread. I just couldn't understand the stupidity of it all and was hoping I could find some rational thought. It was a futile task.

    - "if you already have both bikes why ask the question? just find out. rip em off and try em on."

    GSXR sites make me cry...

I'm really starting to see why you guys dont like GSX-R people. If this link doesnt work (post #59), let me know. I'll copy over the quote from this shithead. I've never given a pissed off repsonse on forums before, but this put me over the edge.

    GSXR sites make me cry...

my bad, I fixy. FYI, the thread was titled "What The Hell Is My Exhaust"

    Hotbodies.

Why do people go for sound rather than performance?

So many nonbaffled pipes on the market these days? That dont make alot of power unless your wide open.
this is exactly why I left this forum & joined one that actually has usefull info. too many "my opinion is the only one that matters" bullshit.

    In response to your post,
    1. if you read the 1st post, you'd notice that I bought the bike with the exhaust, explaining the name of the thread. I didnt know what it was, and therefore DID NOT BUY/CHOOSE THIS EXHAUST
    2. If you looked at the picture on the 1st post, you'd see the baffle
    3. #2 shows your lack of product knowlege, so here's your response on "performance". See picture attached.

Re: GSXR sites make me cry...

Ah, whatever... It's pretty much every forum I've ever been to. Found this on the first page of "general" discussion" on r1-forum.com:

Looking for good place to get cheap helmet

Hey guys, and girls im looking for this helmet Icon Battlecry Alliance SS.http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...0/633069754479
    543331AllianceSSblk.jpg
if anyone knows any good website to find it cheap let me know..so far i
    found it for 187...

    thanks

    And then this:

    Full tank removal ?

I plan to remove and block the AIS. For which I want to remove the fuel tank but i just fill it to top. How to remove it ??? I don't see quick disconnect ???

    Ideas ...

    thank's

    This was pretty choice. too...

I get a kick out of the posts that claim all shop mechanics are morons

do good mechanics not pursue it as a profession , where to the good mechanics work

I submit that people that have problems with shops are stupid customers, instead of asking for complete service, they only ask for an oil change cause they think that is they only thing that is done,

I've bummed around on lots of these bike sites for fun and entertainment and it appears they all are the same when it comes to the quality of talent and intellectual ability of the people that seem to gather. For every wise one there seems to be a sea of self proclaimed experts! This site is no exception. I think it's just human nature that makes everyone an expert.

I know some brilliant people who know motorcycles inside and out. You'll find none of them hanging out on these sites.

If you will notice, every site you go to you'll find two things that automaticly create an "Expert"! One is a number plate! Once a guy has a number plate, even if it's a novice plate, it instantly makes him an expert. The other seems to be the guy who has successfully completed three track days without crashing. Now he is an expert as well. And we must not leave out the guy whose been riding his Bandit on the streets for ten years and never crashed. There are a few of these as well. They all make you giggle and some of them actually just irritate the shit out of you!

Then you have the crew that clique together (Every site has them and they are all experts) to form a gang who pounce on any potential prey who may come aboard and post up a question or statement they think is silly or possibly questions their knowledge or ablilty to ramain upright for a complete lap. Once one of the clique leaps in to start the flaming and name calling the rest are soon to follow. Reminds me of a pack of hyenas in a feeding frenzy.

Bottom line is, don't expect to find any of Einstein's direct relatives to entertain you when you visit any biker site!

I think there should be a Warning like the ones on stunt video's posted on all biker sites "The information you get here is for entertainment purposes only"!
"The internet, 11 billion losers can't be wrong!" one my favorite t-shirts.

    CBRforum seems to be okay.

There tends to be lots dumb questions regarding winter storage, the "best exhaust" and what everyone's top speed is on their respective machines.

The general public seems to promote proper riding gear. Not too many squids from what I could see.
