new guy! (kinda)

hey everyone...i'm ian, i've been on here before when i was probably like 14-15 and retarded...but i guess we can just call me a newbie.

I've been thinkin about gettin a bike for awhile...always wanted one. my cars tranny just blew up, the engines got 180,000 miles on it, and the rear end is fucked, so i'm parting my car and getting a bike with what little money i'll get.

i'll probably have 2-3 thousand to spend on a bike, thinkin an f2 or f3, maybe even an sv650 if i could find one for that price (its been awhile since i've looked at bikes).

never ridden before either...but i really just need something to get back and forth to work, and if i hate it i'll deal with it...but i'm pretty sure i'll like it (my trans am kinda built that need for speed into my mind )

so hopefully i'll be out riding with some of you soon

heh, btw, Ian... don't stop comin here if we bust your balls too hard... the people on this website are about the best mentours a beginning rider can have. i've learned a SHITLOAD from these people in the short year that i've had my bike and continue to learn all the time. There's people on this site that have given me knowledge people would be more than willing to pay for (i'm just a cheapass & am willing to pick their brains and take it for free )

I will never forget the people i've met on this website & the riding education it's brought me.
