I am attempting to sell the bike 01' GSXR 600 due to unforeseen medical bills. Been down once only 8k for mileage, good tire tread left I am asking 4k. I have someone offering 3k cash, think I should take it or try and get the money in the spring time when there are more buyers. I'm only holding out for more due to 4500plus left on the loan.

hahahaha I wish I could keep it. I may wait till spring and hopefully I can save and get by in the winter and keep it, unless someone offers me the money I want.

at this time of year - if you got 3250 you should be very very happy

i sold my 2001 R6 early this season in mint condition, new rubber, new chain and sprockets for 3800 and i was pumped

Yea this is the worst time to sell because everyone wants to get rid of their bikes. Wait till spring when EVERYONE is looking for bikes.

+1 I sold my 03 600rr in sept for 4400 and I know someone else just sold theirs for a bit less. Your not going to get more than 3500 for an 01 600 right now. Id wait if you can swing it till spring. You'll do much better then.

NADA used price is $2965-$3900

if you want more, yer more likley to find a sucker in the spring, but that would be a gamble

If I dont decide to keep it as a track day bike I may be selling my '00 ZX6R in the spring. If someone offered me 3g's for it right now as it sat right now I'd be stoked.... but that doesn't mean i'd sell it to em

I think I am going to wait till spring I keep goin back and forth whether or not I really want to part ways with it. I say I do when I look at my bills but then I think how much I love riding and want to do some trackdays and then I don't want to sell it. I'm addicted to this damn thing hahaha

Still owe $4500 on a 2001 600? Ouch!

Depending on how much insurance costs over the winter, you may be better off to take the 3k now...but I don't see how needing to come up with the 1500 in negative equity will help you if you're trying to get bills paid up.
