I regret selling mine, they’re pretty rare these days. Best fun to practicality ratio of any bike I’ve owned.

I can’t even decide what bike I want to keep long term, so I won’t throw out an opinion but am eager to see what you decide on! Good luck!

Kawi z1000 too bland and japanesey? The model with the dual twin outlet pipes?

I totally get that aprilia v4 is more than $6k after doing a lot more reading I think I’ve ruled out the aprilia all together.
Fair point, VFR’s are easier on passengers and easier to ride with passengers, but they’re middle of the road solo.

Yea if I was gonna get a passenger focused/touring if my fiancé was super into it I’d end up getting a GS. We don’t have that much time our business is summer and fall focused.

I rented one in San Francisco while I had my Speed. Came home and thought about swapping for one. I fell in love with it.

I think the Tiger was a little lower. Easier to get your feet down, anyway. The exhaust wasn’t there and the engine cases didn’t stick out as much, at least not where your legs go. My wife still thought it was very tall when she rode it.

I thought the tiger was a bit higher but not much over my speed. Might have been the fact that there's more shit to get your legs around with bags and what not. I will say, this thread has got me looking at tigers for sale now... Tough to beat the compromise of comfort fun and cool

Not sure your willingness to turn a few wrenches or travel but I saw a few V4’s in NY for cheap.
