Heh, welcome to NESR! Please post an introduction thread so we can know what, where, when, how, and who you ride.

You'll fit in fine here now that you've asked for advice with vague details given, rejected the advice, retreated to the moral high ground, then posted up how everybody else should do it.

Just registered a bike with a Q1 and they require the signature and address of the last registered owner.

You might want to re-read my original post. Nothing you've written in your reply fits any of it.

I never left the moral high ground. I never asked for a way to skirt the law. I simply asked if it was possible and how it could be done. Now that I know, I merely offered it up to the others. You can choose to accept it or not.

That said, thanks for welcoming me in to the forum.

We don't read posts around here for content and formulate a reasoned and thoughtful response, we just reply. You're welcome!

Good news, some states absolutely will not issue a title for some bikes, even if you are willing to pay the fees. See Maine and anything under 300cc for an example. Those bikes cannot be titled, period.

I have 5 copies of this Q1 coming from DMV. From now on that will part of my arsenal when purchasing a bike along with the CT DMV's Bill of Sale I carry now. No signature... no sale.
