Thy work well for home use. Not commercial grade but totally worth it for home.

I am also toying with getting one, pity they discontinued the air operated one. I am on the fence as they take up a decent amount of room permanently. I am also looking at the folding work tables which can be easily stored when not in use, they are a similar price to the HF lift.

I was a guys house just yesterday and he had one. Looked decent and he said he loved it. I didnt care for the front wheel lock and it looked like thin gauge steel but he had a full harley on it and it was fine. Id probably try to get one if i had room but i dont.

The space thing might be an issue here also. The kendon cruiser lift looks good because you can put it away. twice the money tho and you cant put an atv on it....hmmmm

in the back of any motorcycle/car magazine they have a coupon for 299.

the air one is great but the pump one will get the job done. Just be ready to pump it over 50 times to get the lift all the way up.

The manual pump ones are a pain - I'd stick with air or elec/hydro. There are a couple good threads on the board; the one below has a review of the HF lift in post 13.

    Re: Harbor Freight lift table?

I have the HF lift table with the air attachment. I replaced the front clamp with a chock that HF sells.
It works great... definitely not commercial grade, but I've had all my bikes up on it.

I have one and it makes working on a bike so much easier. $299 model FTW.

something to keep in mind, the shorter ones (not sure if they still sell it) is VERY short. had to have the wife hold the vmax while i put straps on the handle bars then had to jack the swingarm up to put the centerstand under it, wasnt' even eough room to rock it back...

Never seen that one before, looks like a disaster waiting to happen! Hope the straps don't let go!

Most of the time the rear tire is in the air with a centerstand. No worry

My brother has one and loves it... I've worked with it too and it's definitely worth the price.

Narrow and low enough to just park the truck right over it when not in use.

yea i have 4 straps on it now and a block under the rear tire. not that it'd save it, same issue as i put it on the CS during the winter usually.

its also not as high as it looks but just keep the length of the lift in mind.

I built a table out of 1/4 deck plate. You could park a bus on the fucker. It's heavy and does take up space though.

I built one of those above first but also built this.

It is a little high and I plan to cut it down but it is very sturdy and I like that I can move it, plus the storage is handy.

My only regret is that I didn't have any wheels that lock. I will most likely replace the ones on it for ones that lock.

    Excuse the mess.

I needed it to be out of the way 99% of the time. I really only use it over the winter when I rebuilt my bikes.

The ceiling brackets are a great touch. Really well done.

I am not sure I would find 2' to be the right height. I feel like the bike would be too high most of the time.
