To all those with the Harbor Freight one, when you put the lock bar in, have you noticed any buckling of the bar or the frame?
It looks like there are two version, an older style one with what seems to be a weaker pump (#68892) and then a newer version with a stronger pump(#69904) but weaker frame.

Because of that, I've looked at the GSE and Redline items. They all look just about the same obviously with the HF version costing about 1/3 less.
Has anyone seen all 3? Thoughts?

I can't see the photos on that site..
Mine hasn't been an issue. I use the safety bar and leave bikes up on the lift, resting on the bar for weeks on end. My SV has been on the lift for at least 3 weeks now...
No trouble with my 600+ lb vfr1200X in the up position for weeks.
Ken Condon posted something a while back about the difference between new and old model. Apparently the new ones are less stable.
I need to work on the roughly 500 lb Triumph. Is the current HF offering OK, or should I cough up for something better?
I've had no trouble with mine bought last year and my 600 plus pound vfr1200x
You know Ken S through YBs. He routinely hoists his Road King on his HF stand. Or so he tells me. Says the drop out panel on the back is handy for that application.
They are currently $430, don’t they go on sale regularly?

57 here, I get it!
I turned 59 yesterday and mine is neither growing nor a problem, thanks. But my damn dog wakes me up at 4 am every day -- sometimes just for the hell of it -- and I can NOT get back to sleep for anything.

Gotta go find Ken’s post on FB, there were some concerns with a new model’s stability.
I'll say this about it, it's hard to fault the table at the price. It's not the most stable, the chock sucks, it's 100% manual. If those things don't bother you, buy it. It's not unstable enough where the bike will spontaneously jump off. Use tie downs.
All that said, knowing what little I do about you, this table is not for you. You like tracked snowblowers that can climb the porch stairs and read consumer reports on whether or not grade 8 bolts are *really* still grade 8 bolts like they used to be. I equate you to the track day rider that stresses over his front tire being .1 psi low yet is only using 60% of their available traction. Don't take that poorly, I respect your process, most of us have benefited from it at one time or another. But lets be honest, you want a nice air over hydraulic table like a Handy. You're getting older, you don't want to be on your hands and knees taking on and off the damn jack handles for the stupid manual pump on the Hazard Fraught lift.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
