Friend: man riding this really hurts my balls
Me: Well you're not supposed to sit on your balls!
I like it, looks cool, hopefully a functional and viable Batterycycle.
That said, it is too quiet, I am sure. Everyone who rides it will probably die.
Where you at oxx? When's the demo?
Cliff's Cycles KTM
NETRA enduro B-vet
Close your eyes, look deep in your soul, step outside yourself and let your mind go.
I love it.
A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.
I bet it's still a pushrod motor.
Buuuuuut it's kinda cool, so I can't hate too much.
..... (leaks oil too)

Don't "Harley guys" hate the vrod cause it doesn't sound like a Harley...

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
I like the look, but then I have always liked the looks of Confederate Motorcycles. It looks like it rolled right out of their factory.
Love the look!
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
I like it. Can't wait to ride it.
Took the Street 500 out yesterday for break in. Fun little bike. Fueling was spot on. No jerkiness. Will be great for our classes. Pushing to get them all set up for my class this weekend.
Definitely looks cool. 130 mile range is surprisingly good but I wonder what kind of usage it requires to get that range or how long that range is achievable as the battery ages. The 30-60 minute charge time is pretty good too.
I was hoping to see a motor-in-hub type setup but that's probably still too expensive at the moment.

Looks great, cant wait to see performance numbers and $...
Are you sure? It's got reflectors, blinkers, mirrors, plate bracket... if it's not a production bike it's certainly ready to be one.
I think it's pretty cool looking either way. And if it has any kind of decent performance, I'd seriously consider it. I love the sound of a big angry RC51, Desmo or a V4 Tuono... but I honestly prefer silenceElectric is the future!
From the linked article
Harley will show handmade demonstration models Monday at an invitation-only event in New York. The company will then take about two dozen bikes on a 30-city tour for riders to test drive and provide feedback. Harley will use the information it gathers to refine motorcycle, which might not hit the market for several more years.
Harley's video released today
Wow, first liquid cooling, now an electric motorcycle?![]()
Yamaha
Ugh, there was a video that interviewed the two designers behind the concept somewhere and I just watched it yet have no idea where the link went. Anyways, yep it's hand made, pre-production that they are using to get feedback from dealers and such on.
Either way I think electric motorbikes make much more sense for commuting or a pleasure bike instead of any sort of long distance bike. I am seriously considering one in the next few years.
Hellz yes!
Now that Tesla has put all their technology out there to help the masses compete, I am hoping we will see a lot of performance increases from everyone attempting electric vehicles. It feels like the only really exciting electric motorcycle up to now has been the Mission 1. But $50k+... meh, not ripe yet.
Best looking thing Harley's come out with in a long time. Sounds cool too.
2019 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE

Based just on three photos, I give it two thumbs up. Let's hope the Motor Company doesn't uglify it too much when it goes into production. I could be interested.
Go fast. Have fun. Repeat.
Wonder if they have lots of hidden vibrators all throughout that. Is it a Harley if it doesn't shake itself (and you) to death?
