It DOES suck to find out you need to remount/relocate bodywork during your first practice. The result is that you hack the thing in a hurry, miss the rest of practice, and possibly a race and stress yourself out for no reason other than poor preparation.
But feel free to learn the hard way...
That thing is gonna hit the tire the first time you brake into 3.

Close your eyes, look deep in your soul, step outside yourself and let your mind go.
How many "experienced" Hawks have you seen on track with a fairing? It doesn't need it and it won't last long anyway. Keep it simple and have fun.

I made a rear bracket to hold the rear fairing steady. I legit can't move it back any more since it is attached to the upper. I don't have any ideas or the knowledge to do anything else prior to the race weekend. I don't have the time to do so either. HOPEFULLY Thursday/Friday ill be able to figure something out with someone at the track.
I don't even race and know you are out of your mind riding it like that.
Will they even let that pass tech?
Just get a couple guys to lift it.
A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.
Then I don't have a belly pan
Just so I can understand because I got some confusing texts as well. Where are you guys telling me it's gonna touch the tire? Bottom right corner or where the upper and the lower connect?

No one can tell you exactly where it's going to touch. That's why someone suggested pulling the springs to move the wheel through its range. But flex is also huge under braking load.
I would be listening to these guys and working toward a simpler belly pan solution.
But given your resistance , I would bring a BFH and a dremel to the track. These issues are usually EASY to solve.
Sav is gonna come see me when he gets in before Penguin. We'll get it sorted out.

I'm not resisting out of lazyness or cause I want it to look pretty. I legit have no knowledge how to do most of that stuff and currently I don't have the time. And I know everyone is too busy working on their bikes to ask anyone come solve my problems. I'm already busting Degsys, Christians and Kurtzs ball with questions all day. I'm trying to figure it out on my own as much as I can through the forum and I'm asking questions because I really don't know the answers.
I think if you put some tape on it, it will not get scratched.

It does and has worked seeing it came off a Hawk that I purchased. The body work works as is was designed from Sharkskinz for the Hawk to replicate the R1. I just want Sav to be safe out there and not come into any surprises. He's already going to have enough on his mind. He does not need anything else to pop up and take his mind off of what he is supposed to be doing.

Thanks Gino and I believe it works as well and I know my issue is my exhaust for sure.
Hopefully Kurtz and I figure it out or I somehow manage to find time to go get the bike at Degsys.

different pipes fo different Hawk will require different things. I took it off a bike with a Supertrap which tucks up closely to the bike.. I know anything with a TBR may require some cutting and or shaving. U have to get creative.
