I don't know what is more sad, that someone lost his life in a brutal way or that there are people here that hate their fellow man so much that they would attack someone for expressing concern for a stranger's passing.

I absolutly HATE crash threads. I hate when a bike goes down, or someone gets hurt too. I certianly dont need a thread to tell me when it happens. It happens everyday. I generally do not even open those threads. When one is titled 'wreck in ...' or 'bike down in....' I dont open them. But there are sometimes threads titled 'Shit' so i open that one....I almost made a thread of my own last night which was going to ask please dont post crash threads. But I waited to see this one devolve.

Listen, most of us here ride racebikes with headlights. Most of us here wear our gear. I like that. This activity is dangerous. We ALL know that. We ALL know bikes go down. We ALL know some injuries could have been prevented, and we all know we should ride safe. Not sure about the rest of you, but I DONT need to be rminded to ride safe, wear my gear, or told another bike down, this guy died or that guy died. I dont need it.

Rest in peace to the rider. Prayers for his or her friends and family.

Stop posting about crashes. Please.

When I see crash threads, I usually read them to see if a) it's anyone I know and b) to try to learn something from the accident (whether it was a particularly dangerous intersection, or rider error, or road conditions, or whatever). If I didn't want to read them, I wouldn't.

I have never tried to purposely write a thread attacking people, like I have seen several times on this forum. That’s the crap that ppl should not write about. That’s the stuff that should be banned

If this bothers you so much don’t read it. Some of you guys are just plain rude. One guy says why he does not like it, I can appreciate that.

Others that write sarcasm comments that make them sound like an ass, just avoid the thread.

Every time a crash thread is posted, this bullshit argument takes place on whether or not the thread should have been posted.

How about this: until it is AGAINST FORUM RULES TO POST CRASH THREADS, keep it to your fucking self. I'm not a fan of them either but as it has been pointed out, it does benefit some people. Its quite obvious that bitching about it isn't going to stop people from posting them.
