    Headlight question

I want to put projectors on my TLR. The stock harness is for H4 bulbs, the projectors are H1's. Can I just plug them in the stock harness, or do I need to some type of mod so not to blow fuses?

    Headlight question

On tlplanet.com there are a bunch of projector conversions that have been done, I'm sure you could do a search there and find what you're looking for.

With that being said, do you mean PROJECTOR, or HID? because it is possible to retro a HID kit into a convensional housing.

    Headlight question

It's a halogen projector. Eventually I'll do a hid kit, but right now, I don't want to burn my bike up!

    Headlight question

You will have to modify your harness to use H1 bulbs. H4 bulbs have 3 pin connections (high, low, common) where the H1 has only one pin for power and its metal base is the return. This means you have to have a ground connection from the base of the bulb to your battery's negative terminal. Most fully faired bikes have plastic headlight assemblies which means there is no ground connection for the lights. You will have to make sure the new lense assembly you are getting has a place where you can bond a return wire otherwise your H1 will not turn on.
