    maybe some of you know.

at the very end, guy in grey suit, did he just lose traction due to wet condition or was it something else?

    question on this video

Too much steering and braking for the amount of traction he had. That's a pretty typical low-side right there.

    question on this video

It actually looks like most of those guys are sliding quite a bit without crashing.

Looks like he overdid the slide and hit his peg, which then caused it to be unrecoverable.

There is a whole lot of damn impressive rain riding in that video!

    question on this video

    Engine "braking" or "breaking" Kham?

Engine braking is a good thing and shouldn't be a problem, you just have to get used to it.

To me it looks like the front tire just slid out. I do not think he hit a rearset, just a typical low side.

There is no absolute answer.. if you are leaned way over and you chop the throttle that is definitely bad but some people are carefully transitioning the throttle while leaned over, especially on the racetrack, and some of the racers are even transitioning off the brakes, letting the throttle out, and getting back on the gas, all at maximum lean angle.

Again, not things that I would be doing on the street, and you probably shouldn't either....

You're correct. At full lean you should never be rolling off, using engine brake or touching the front brakes as it will overload the front. You should have maintnance throttle or be on the gas.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

so what do you think he did wrong? or was he just lean too far for that much traction?

He either went in a little too hot or tire was spent (in my opinion).

I was taught that once you are committed to a turn, you are also committed to the throttle because if you chop or roll off the gas, you're either running risk of crash due to destabilizing the bike's weight distribution and riding off road/across median because the bike will straighten and run wide.

    question on this video

He crashed because he was trail braking a bit too much for the traction available.
