Heated grips?

    Heated grips?

I'm tending toward the wrap-around external jobs, rather than taking off the grips and dicking around with replacement grips (that I won't want in the summer) or trying to fit those jobs that go underneath the current grips linky . These look cheap and people seem to like them, but fitting them under the grips..

    Heated grips?

Yah get the 2nd kind, I have them too.

$97 for the complete ones isn't all that bad but still a ripoff.

Better then BMW and Honda charging $300 and crap like that though.

    Heated grips?

you would be surprised how often you use heated grips in the summer if you have them, on cool mornings or in wet riding

$97 for hot grips is high, I got them at my local dealer for half that

Aerostich had good quality stuff, but no bargains

    Heated grips?

Fitting the kit style heaters under the grips is trivial.

    That's not the hard part.

It takes less then a half hour to get your stock grips off, put the heaters underneath, and then put the grips back on.

The tricky part is figuring out how to wire it all up so you don't blow a fuse, etc.. and then getting it done and putting a switch in. And that's the same no matter what kit you get, unless you get one of the super expensive OEM kits. (If one is available for your bike)
