With the heated liner my leather jacket she's kinda toyt!!

I think my winter weight came a few months earlier this year. With my new liner my leather jacket is kinda toyt.

I love my new heated liner and I would highly recomend that anyone who rides in the late fall into winter. I LOVE my heated jacket and it is bar far the best sportbike related piece of ger that I personally have ever purchased.

You hop on the bike plug in, start her up, head out. Then about 10 minutes in brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr you get that chill. Reach down turn up the dial and in about 2 minutes you get this nice warm feeling coming about in the core of your body. Ohhhh how nice it is. The days of dreading your ride to work cuz you know your going to be cold as fak when you get there are over.

Moto Market hooked me up. They are very helpfull guys out there!!!

    Whatchoo do for wiring it?

I really miss my heated grips, but i'd settle for one of those nice toasty jackets!

    Cheers,
    Chris

But when we ride very fast motorcycles, we ride with immaculate sanity. We might abuse a substance here and there, but only when it's right. The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body. It is that simple: If you ride fast and crash, you are a bad rider. If you go slow and crash, you are a bad rider. And if you are a bad rider, you should not ride motorcycles.

The liner and the thermostat is 69 bucks? Not bad.
Someone said they could get heated grips for 35 bucks. Where?Sounds like a good investment.

Any parts unlimited dealer can get you Kimpex grip heaters for around $25. You will need a relay <$5, a fuse holde and some wire that should add up to <$5. All three bikes in my garage have them. I have been riding with elkectric clothes for 3-4 years and think they are wonderful. Don't know anyone that regretted spending the money. I have a vest and a Gerbings jacket and can say this, skip the vest, go for the jacket. MUCH better.

If your selling the ones from your snowmobile they won't work on a street bike because of the large throttle side grip.

Thanks KB! I just looked on hot grips site and noticed the different size. Sorry, cause these would be much cheaper. Hot grips wants $110 for the motocycle setup not including a fuse.

    $110???

I got my Hotgrips for half that... but still more expensive than Kimpex heaters.

I don't know why you should need a relay for heated grips, they only draw 3 amps on high...

The relay is used to allow the heaters to be hooked up to a switched source without drawing an extra 3 amps from whatever switched source you choose. I won't connect them directly to the battery for fear I'll leave them on and drain the battery.

no shit , If was drawing 10 amps or more for auxillary lighting, I would use a relay..... for 3 amps... I still say not necessary
