    helmet liners / heat gear?

Anyone know how well things like this http://tinyurl.com/cprqa work? My helmet was really gross today w/sweat and I'd love to find some way to cool things down a bit and / or keep the lining from getting really icky. I've got some of the basic Under Armour heat-gear stuff and it works really well, so figured this might be a comprable product.

A helmet with a removable liner is a must. Take the liner out and toss it in the wash whenever you feel the need and you're done. Adding more stuff to your head to soak up the sweat is just gonna make you hotter IMO.
I'll be washing mine tonight after this past race weekend, it's kinda stanky

that will work fine, i have one, but ive always used it for winter riding. it will probably make you a little warmer, but it will prevent your liner from getting all sweaty (until you sweat thru it)

I'd look more at how well your helmet vents and what other gear you are wearing. Then just wash the helmet lining.

I start feeling cold in my mesh gear at ~70 degrees. Mid to high 80s is just fine in mesh unless you're stuck in traffic.

It only gets really bad/dangerous as the temps approach 100 degrees with humidity, then you really need to watch it.
