Some help to get access to a vehicle report?

I need to get a vehicle history report for a bike, and would rather not pay the $50 for carfax, etc. Does anyone here deal with this sort of stuff and can help me out?

Run the VIN at the DMV or give them a call.............they can give you the same info

I no longer have access to carfax, but just the same, it is carfax, not bikefax

While this doesn't have all the vehicle history, this link will at least tell you if a vehicle (including bikes) has ever been reported as stolen or totaled.
