Apparently there are now 39 spots. I've marked up 2 areas that I remember parking in, but I haven't looked for any others. And the one between Berkeley and Clarendon might be off - it's been a while.
Particularly interested in spots toward the Mass Ave end.
I'll add any more I find the next time I head into town and have time to look.

Too bad - I was just there! I'll look around later this week.
D'oh, I was just down there last night too. Needed to shoot home quick after they let us out though. Next time...
There are 4 in front of the Starbucks on Newbury just after Dartmouth St on the R heading toward mass ave. I also think there are some down where JP licks used to be on Newbury just before Mass Ave.
There are also several along Boylston just before Ring Rd on the left.
There are 8 more, just to the west of the ones you have on there now. 4 on the north side of the street and 4 on the south side of the street.

I just emailed the city and asked if there is a directory of all the spaces.
BPL shows some.
Awesome, danke. Yeah, I had gone to the city site and asked if they had a map of the spaces. They said they'd forward it to the "website team" or something - not counting on anything soon.
I updated the jpg and have also made a Google Map that can be edited by anyone with a Google account.
Map updated again - I had a couple wrong.
I need to start taking advantage of these parking spaces. I just don't know what I would do with my helmet and jacket...don't really want to walk around with them on...especially in the summer.
the roads perpendicular to boylston and newbury have a bunch of sets of 2 parking spots. I'll ride by soonish and make note of which streets
The PR says "hirty-nine parking slots have been designated on Newbury and Boylston Streets, including four in front of the Apple store located at #815 Boylston Street."
No response to my email except from the new bike [bicycle] czar who said, basically "It's not my yob, man."
So I tried the live chat feature on the city's website.
First try Him - "There are no motorcycle specific spots. They are treated like normal motor vehicles."
Me - http://www.cityofboston.gov/parking/...motorcycle.asp
Him - "I don't have any more information that what it is in that Press Release. You should contact the Transportation Department at 617 635 4680 for more information."
Me - "They don't have an email address available for this? It is going to kind of difficult for them to describe a list of 39 spaces over the phone, don't you think?"
Him - "They divided regular parking spots into six separate spots so there are only currently 7 locations."
Me - Email address for Transportation? I couldn't find a general inquiry email.
Him - To my knowledge, they don't have one.
Me - "Commissioner Timilty doesn't have an email address? None of his subordinates have email? Seriously?"
Him - They all have personal email addresses but I'm not sure who the best person is to address your question. The Transportation Department Operator can best direct your call.
So, I called Transportation - who directed me to the BRA (Boston Redevelopment Authority). Who directed me to a Back Bay Planner, where I got a voice mail message.
Stay tuned!

Yeah, it's kind of a pain. But it's also a pain to take the T (especially on weekends) or find a spot for the car...
Thank you!I only went down Boylston and Newbury, didn't have time to start zig-zagging the side streets.

Any of these parking spots around Brighton?
