Opinions on the bike I'm building?

So I'm going to be building another 600RR and I'm at odds with myself on what to build. When it's done I'll either sell it or keep it and sell my 929.

Check the options in the poll.

    Pick your top two

and by tricked out/trackmods, I'm talking suspension, and performance mostly, probably some powder coating, and gadgets. I like gadgets.

Opinions on the bike I'm building?

well i'd say it depends on if you're gonna keep it or sell it.... I'm guessing the easiest thing to sell would be a standard streetbike w/ some trick track bits on it... that's what the biggest part of the the street yahoo population wants & will pay the most for.

If you're gonna keep it, i say racebike or somethin different... streetfighter style.

so i guess i'll go w/ street/trackbike or streetfighter.... and of course bemused

What state is it in right now.. if it's a crashed bike you picked up I would vote for streetfighter.. otherwise who knows.

I'm not so sure it's the right bike to make a streetfighter out of though.

I would say it depends on what you want out of the bike...if you plan to keep it...build it how you want and ride

If you want to make money on it I would say build it as cheap as possible..if you can get it back to stock condition I would do that...you will get the most money out of it.

If you build a streetfighter you will narrow your options of potential buyers...

stockish with track mods is a good option but you would be better off selling the track mods seperately

stock then sell mods after teh fact will get you the most money...imo

Actually make it a choppah. Something that would actually be unique. Like that guy making Ducati choppers.

Only thing that would be hard would be the front end?

heh...my point is..if you plan on selling it...just put it together as cheap as possible and sell it. unless you can get really good deals on teh mods you will probably not make that money back and they dont really add that much value to the bike

Unlike the others trying to mask their pseudo-intellect, I'll outright show my lack thereof. Streetfighter. That's what I'd do. That IS basically what you're asking, right? Not trying to find statistical laws of averages as to resale value or parts thereof, right?

glue it together as cheap as possable. sell it to firefly for 10 grand. when it falls apart you can say its his fault because he was clutching up wheelies. use profits to build your 929 into a killer streetfighter.

Opinions on the bike I'm building?

I put in for the race bike not that it makes a huge difference to me. However if its cool with you no matter what you decide to do I would like the oppertunity to help out of time allows. My machanic skills arent that great, I can do most of the easier stuff, but I would like to learn something out of the process so Im not so helpless when things get a bit complicated when it comes to working on my bike

Opinions on the bike I'm building?

I voted streetbike with track mods... and then sell it to me for dirt cheap... well under blue book value.

I guess the first thing is decide on if you're going to keep it or sell it when you're done.

That would be the biggest determining factor on how to build it.

If you plan on selling it when your'e done, then put it back together as close to stock as possible and as cheaply as possible.

If you plan on keeping it, then I'd make it a tasty track bike... not 100% race.

Opinions on the bike I'm building?

I figure for the parts that I need to buy it's cheaper to go aftermarket than stock. I already have a racebike. The title on this is salvage, so it would be getting a rebuilt title when i'm done. I think I'm leaning toward a custom streetfighter. If I'm going to keep it I'd probably do a decent suspension, rearsets, clipons and perfomance based stuff. Not much on the engines, the stock stuff is more than enough power to play with.
