    Re: Hey Massachusetts

I have done about 4k this year. The rain seems to hit me everytime I have gone out. I was sick of the super sport tire washout in the rain. I went to the dunlop d616 tires. They have a nice rain tread. The dealer wanted almost $600 to install these. With a little help from Tricky Mike I had them installed under $300. Rain tires are key if you want to ride long distance. You will always hit rain if you ride enough. The 07' ZX-14 has almost reached 19,000. I would like to see 25,000 before the end of the season.

There is nothing wrong with keeping track of how many miles you ride.

Same thing that driving a car in the rain with bad tires does.

Saturday I was driving home from Columbia to Brookyn on RTE 6 at about 7:00. Some poor guy and girl were stuck under and overpass waiting out one hell of a thunder/hail storm. It was friggin nasty!

    Re: Hey Massachusetts

Have about 800 miles so far this season and I bought the bike in May, i was hoping to have around 2k by now though.

Since taking my license course in the rain this past weekend and really getting a chance to ride in it and do all the quick stops and stuff I am getting a little more use to riding in it now and i don't feel as timid.

Looks like I am going to have to if i want to log some good miles this year.

KIll Bill, how was the ride this weekend? I planning on going on your next jaunt as long I don't have plans and woman doesn't bitch at me.
