Bwaaa Haaa!!! "....the Marty Feldman treatment..." Good description!!!![]()
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
They show a pic of a Ducati 996 or 998 on the website, so they must be cool lights. I'm not sure how hot they get and have been told that high intensity bulbs melt the headlight bulb socket, perhaps these don't get too hot. Price doesn't really matter, although these are kind of expensive. I liek the Stage II better and I think they are something like $750. Not sure it's worth it.
I'm interested in increasing the brightness of my tail lights mostly. Ducati superbikes have the lights pointing to the sky so they are less noticeable than other bikes. AutoZone sells high intensity brake light bulbs and I'm also looking to add some LED's near the tail light, perhaps above the license plate. Anyone have a good source for LED's? I haven't checked Radio Shack yet, but that would be my first guess of places that sell these. Also, Randy, you posted something about a hemet tail light before. Not that I would wear such a thing -- too squidy; but I have a friend that is interested in getting one. Do you remember the website?
I put those blue bulbs in my bike after I passed a local cop going the opposite direction about 65 mph over the posted speed limit. I figured they would change the way my bike looked as it came at you.. they did a fine job, the blue halagen bulbs are really noticable, cars seem to give me a little more room and they have increased my range of site at night, and I think they were like $20, I bought a yellow pair bulbs this winter just in case I have to change them again,,
