Lol... that was actually pretty hilarious as far as crashes goes. Totally wasn't what I was expecting.

So was that a throttle error? Looks like the back spun and kicked, He prob. chopped the throttle as it happened making it worse? I fear messing up with my 1000, I so need a small track bike to learn on. I know I am not learning as well and fast as I hold back because of the bike I ride.

If I were to guess (and that's all you CAN do with a video angle like that), because he was approaching the exit he was very likely adding throttle... Not sure if he added a steering input at the end (he may have) but he definitely didn't reduce lean. And where he was in the corner, he probably could have begun reducing lean angle.

I have a hunch he might have been trying to be courteous to the rider w/ the camera... Made an inside pass, didn't want to drift out, so he kept his lean angle in instead of reducing it, but used the same throttle input as before.

Short answer: He asked more from the tire than it could give him.

Definitely not what I was expecting! Crazy. Looks like the bike was still standing in the grass at the end. Wonder how thrashed that got

Can we really call that a 'highside'? Was more like an 'upside' since he didn't end up on the 'high side' of the bike but rather, the inside and the bike went on it's merry way...!

Well, I started my track career on a G1K and promptly broke it half in T4 my second track day out. Rebuilt and raced it. Loved the damn thing and regret selling it sometimes. Be gentle with the throttle, hell be gentle with ALL your inputs as yo learn the bike and you'll be fine. Unless you have your heart set on selling it, in which case let me know
