Since you never gave a status, did the idiots ever pay for a new helmet, like you wanted?

My guess is that they claimed no liability.

The magnet worked for me. Left turn stoplight lanes all go green for me now. I used to just look around and run 'em.

I glassed it into the chin inside my lower, as close to the ground as possible.

I have a couple of questions:

How fast do those gate arms descend?
Could you not just accelerate, brake, duck it, or do whatever it takes to avoid it?

    I know...I know...you're done with this subject...but I'm on a need to know basis.

You can see through the top of your helmet? I know that if I was driving through a gate and it had already lifted up, I wouldn't continue paying attention to the gate arm, as I need to be paying attention to where I'm going and what is in front of me, and as such the gate arm probably wouldn't be in my peripheral vision.

Know your surroundings my friend. Reflex. I know I sure as hell pay attention to anything that moves when I'm on my bike.

    I'm not criticizing Rossco...just wondering that's all.

placebo, induction loops do not pick up magnetic fields

You realize that the whole point of an inductive loop is to create a magnetic field using electricity right? And that the opposite is true?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Induction_loop

Induction loop is a term used to describe an electromagnetic communication- and detection system, relying on the fact that a moving magnet will induce an electrical current in a nearby conducting wire. Induction loops are used for transmission and reception of communication signals, or for detection of metal objects in metal detectors or vehicle presence indicators.
