Cmon Doc youve never done a high speed run on an empty highway? Or gassed it on a straight away? I dont do it regularly, but Ive been known to do both of those from time to time, which is over 50 over. If theres a cop there, sure I deserve a ticket, but losing the bike would be excessive.

I honestly can't see where this is going to really help. I think this will follow the same as Canada's law.....
If you know your bike is going to be taken if you stop, then why stop?
Just going to make a lot more people run, and probably die.

I have done more than 50 over on the highway, heck I have done over 50 over in a 35... I am no saint and I have been VERY stupid.

    BUT,

If I was to get caught I would pay the piper. I do see others points that it might make people MORE likely to run and hence not a great decision. I do however support rider education to quell the stupidity.

In my mind running is/was NEVER an option or a good decision.

Thankfully the track has taken most of my street retardedness away and with me doing this MSF thing I might be able to influence other DE, DE, Dee's

How about if they said you must get your arm cut off if you speed? would you run then? I guess it all depends on what the circumstances mean to the individual.
