    Pretty genius! I need to cook something like that up so I don't have the straps rubbing on the paint all day long. I'm thinking heavy-gauge aluminum plate might last longer than wood though, I'd be worried about wood getting waterlogged over time.

    At least he took the time to do it correctly and put some thought into it's design, safety and security. This is a 10/10 compared to the other home made motorcycle mods that have been posted.

    whoa, I'm not hatin

    I'm looking to make the same thing...I'm back to commuting on the bike, and I have an extra Sargeant seat that will be going in the trash or being made into a rack
