I thought Honda Polish was banned in MA

I thought Mass banned Honda Polish? I was at Bettencourts on Sat just looking around and they had a shelf fully stocked with Honda Polish.

I don't think that it was banned, I think Honda simply stopped making it.

I don't think thats the case because I heard about this whole banning thing about a year ago so I went out and bought a shitload of cans at Bettencourts.

Honda is still producing the product because the product is on it's current list of cleaners and polishers

MA I thought banned it because of some bullshit about how it harms the environment. What doesn't harm the evironment now a days?!?!? Either way its a good thing its still available locally!

Are you talking about the hondabrite washless cleaner? I use that stuff all the time. It is great for when you don't have time to really wash the bike.

All the stores stocked up on it! Allen from Motomarket said they bought a ton of cases of it before the ban went into effect. At least that is what I heard. The nice thing is that every other state around MA is still selling it

the only problem is you will scratch your paint if there is any dust on it before using it...

The story goes something like this.

Honda stopped making the Honda Polish the way it used to becuse of the inhalant issues it was having with kids. Honda then went and reengineered the Honda Polish with a different make up so that it could continue to sell it. Rumor has it that the new stuff is not the same old Honda Polish that we knew and loved, it just doesn't clean and polish the way the old forumla did. At least that is what I have been told by people in the know at dealerships I frequent.
