We got snow last night and the raods were quite icy this morning. Friday is supposed to be nice though.

Don't those yellow strips on the tires wear off the first time you lean the bike?

I donno, i think they last the life of the tire just like the tread on the sides, it just never shows any wear

I rode to work today, with a dusting of snow, the road I live on was a bit slimey, but nothing that bothered me I had a nice ride in the afternoon from my office to Concord & back. I got about 100 miles in total today. I'm riding friday for sure. possibly tomorrow looks like rain, but warm in upper 40's

I rode to work as well yesterday. After pulling out of my driveway and feeling the steering hard and slow I turned around to check the tire pressure. 8 lbs of air WHOA. Filled it up and good as new.

Saw some dude on 128 with a green triumph with a yellow helmet that looked like an F14 pilot helmet.

Anyone?

the weathermen butchered the forcast for this weekend. Its gonna be cloudy and might rain today. And its gonna be much colder this weekend then they said, and its gonna rain. Oh well, clean of the roads I guess

I rode in to work this morning, roads were a little slippery from overnight light rain but it is going to be worth it for the weather this afternoon that will be in the 60's!

No lunch ride for me, I will be out for a little bit after work though!
Anyone in the Metrowest area wanna go for a run in the area after 4??

It wasn't slippery until I got to route 2a and the rain started.

I work in concord and have the Hawk with me today. I am supposed to go to NH right after work but I suppose it could wait.

I'll let you know later in the day.

I know Jamie was horny to ride today too.

Got the new cans on too......need to break them in.

Nah, I had a loaner bike lined up. Didn't end up riding tho, looks like rain. Gonna finish up the 6R this weekend tho, so it better start making with the spring!

Had to go to the store then to work but managed to get a very nice 30 miles of riding in...so nice at 63 deg. Of course I took the long way were ever I went. Normally the ride would have been 8 miles, but oops...kept making wrong turns and ending up on some nice twisty little roads. Damn my sence of direction!

Now I can't stop smiling

whoa!! i can't believe you guys had it in the 60s today!! Why does Boston decide to warm up the day after i leave?? grrr...

well it was in the high 60s today out in LA

i went out for a little over 200 miles (got a little lost part of the way, hehe), and then out of sheer stupidity i dumped my bike while parking it. damn i was exhausted. the bike escaped unscathed, but i broke 2 fingers, and now i can't do this:

That sucks, which hand? fingers?

I broke my thumb a couple years ago, (tripping while dismounting my bike, everybody has done something boneheaded like that at one time or another OR WILL) on my clutch hand, I was able to ride with a cast, but I was still able to use my fingers, although at times it was awkward to keep the clutch pulled in for very long
