yes they are LED. i just used a stock relay off an R6.
They blink a little quick, but thats ok by me.

I'm using LED's on the 525, LP has a new electronic flasher for LED lights to make them blink properly. I'd put a resister or a electronic relay in if I were you and had to get an inspection to get a plate
ps: a single 12v lightbulb will work as a resistor

i'm not worried about it. they blink. thats what counts.
i actually tried the light bulb trick, i have used it on other bikes, but these blinkers didn't get enough voltage to turn on and initiate the blink when i did it.

1st ride report.
-lots of vibrations in the footpegs at highway speeds.
-rear brakes need to be bleed... almost looped it cause they are pretty soft right now! She comes up quick!!!!
-i cant stop giggling.
- lots people look at ya with a "WTF?" on their forehead!!!!
